Wet Dream
Directed by Anita Yen and Erin Xi.
Wet Dream is a piece that explores female desire through the lens of Eastern culture and female eroticism. It is a surreal journey that takes you into the female body and botanical landscapes to regain female agency. We collaborated with dancers, composers and 3D artists to create this unique 360 VR film experience. Using motion capture devices, we were able to capture this performance into the virtual world.
Environment modeled in Blender, Nomad, textured, animated, rendered in Twinmotion. Character created in Daz3D, motion captured through Optitrack System, cleaned up in MotionBuilder and Blender, textured in TwinMotion.

Foreplay
This scene depicts intimacy and playfulness in foreplay. I took inspiration from curly ferns and purple violets, creating a space that feels like a narrow tunnel.
Venus Flytraps
This scene wants to create a sense of initiative, active and slightly aggressive aspect of female desire. I decided to use the carnivorous plant, Venus flytrap, and create a sea of snapping plants.
The Tunnel
After being swallowed by a Venus flytrap, the audience is sent through the tunnel that resembles the female body, creating a sense of traveling through blood veins.
The Ritual
In this scene we wanted to depict a ritual that celebrates the female sexuality. I designed the scene with lotus leaves with gold that allows the dancer to perform on. The scene is bold and an escalation towards the peak of the music and the animation.
